Keira Knightly to star in The Misanthrope at the Comedy Theatre

Alceste (Damian Lewis) is transported from 17th century Paris to modern-day London. A famous British playwright disillusioned and angry with the hypocrisy, shallowness and vanity of the contemporary world Alceste vows to reject society. His plans are derailed when he falls madly in love with Jennifer (Keira Knightley) – an ambitious American film star and darling of the social scene.

“Morecambe” celebrates the extraordinary life of Britain’s best loved comic – Eric Morecambe. The multi-talented Bob Golding takes on the lead role, 25 years after the great man’s untimely death.

The Restaurant

A passion for good food and authentic Italian flavours were the main ingredients which inspired the Lavarini family to open the first Spaghetti House restaurant in 1955 in Goodge Street.

Imogen is a young princess who marries against her father Cymbeline’s wishes. Her husband is then banished to Rome. Shakespeare’s late romance takes many comic and tragic twists and turns before the final scene of remarkable reconciliation.
